feringMemberAnyone know of any place that is selling Christmas trees before Friday? I have a special request from a 7 year old to decorate on Thanksgiving. Thanks!

jwwsParticipantYou might try Junction True Value. I was there Friday and they were putting out wreaths and putting their Xmas lights up, didn’t see any trees but they may be there now. also check with WS Nursery.

DannyQMemberThank you for asking this question in which I was curious about myself. I have heard remarks about how we have an extra 5 or so days of the Christmas Season, so why would anyone buy a tree this early in chance of having it dry out.
But the reality of it is, if you cut an inch off the stump, keep the tree watered, use LED lights (which give off no heat) and don’t overheat your house, your tree could last until Valentines Day…
Let’s go! :-)

squareeyesParticipantI passed Tony’s this morning (35th & Barton) and they’re already partially stocked with trees.

DannyQMemberI will throw in my personal opinion. Although I support small community businesses, other surrounding small community business that sell Christmas trees sell them at 25% to 50% cheaper than Tony’s and also has better quality.
