AnonymousInactiveMe too and I think I’m part of it.
Wes, I think you’ve tried talking religion to me before. You seem like a nice guy but c’mon. All I did was ask you to not define me by your beliefs. If you want to come on here and profess to the world that you’re a sinner, have at it. That is your world view and you’re entitled to have it and celebrate it for all I care.
To declare on a public forum that we’re all sinners, is imposing your beliefs onto me. That is offensive.

KenParticipantRepublican cleared of rape charges?
The real crime is the hypocrisy. That is what the conservatives don’t get.

And yes, it is the hypocrisy. It has never been that democrats don’t commit these offenses as well. However, republicans make a practice of getting elected on a morally superior platform. Family values, traditional values, christian values.

charlabobParticipantThere’s been a spate of federal charges filed against various Democratic elected officials in the past few months. I’m NOT saying wrong-doing should not be charged and prosecuted. I am saying the timing is interesting, given that the FBI has so obviously been politicized.
Can you say the best defense is a good offense? When I have more time, I’ll compile a precise list.
When the 9 Republican US Prosecutors were fired for failing to prosecute political cases against Democrats, the cynical among us said, “Imagine what the ones who aren’t fired will be doing.” Now we know.
NB, this is an issue — doesn’t constitute a violation of my personal ban on political posts :-)
