What's with the "redesigned" Jefferson Square Bartell's?

OK, not an earth-shattering question, but am I the only one who hates Bartell’s new look? This has been my go-to drugstore since I moved to West Seattle decades ago. The new design is ugly and garish. Upon entrance, tacky, neon-colored merchandise (including Cheeze Balls and crappy made-in-China toys) assault the eyes, and it’s hard to find the basics. The people who work there are very nice, but Bartell’s is looking like a WalMart!

I was in there the other day and couldn’t find anything – they moved everything, but hadn’t updated all the signs. So confusing. I was looking for 2 things that I ordinarily would’ve known exactly where they were, but ended up in almost every row looking for them – and no employees in sight to ask and save some time.

Sue, they have comment cards by the pharmacy counter. I filled one out; let’s see if I get a response. I wonder if the Admiral Bartell’s is getting the same unfortunate “facelift.”
