Love working with school age kids? Join our Alki Kids Place team! This job is perfect for college students who are pursuing a career in education, stay at home parents who are looking for a creative outlet, retired individuals who love sharing their skills and time with young ones, and anyone who wishes to make a positive difference in the lives of children. We offer crafting, cooking, science, drama, dancing and art programs on school day afternoons/evenings, non- school days and during the summer.

This part-time position offers a minimum of 26 hours per week with full day work on non-school days such as school conference days and holiday breaks. We are seeking individuals who wish to participate on all levels including program planning and implementation.

Essential Responsibilities
• Work collaboratively under the supervision of the Director to establish a safe, organized and creative environment for children
• Facilitate afterschool activities including check-in and check-out procedures.
• Support team with with daily prep, maintenance and clean up.
• Meet conditions of employment: Background check; CPR/First Aid for Adults and Children; Food Handlers Permit.
