Signs you are allergic
For my Health class project I am spreading awareness about allergies. Here are signs that you might be allergic. If you have any of these symptoms, talk to your doctor about allergy screening.
Drug allergy: hives, rash and fever
Food allergy: digestive problems, hives, swollen lungs
Contact dermatitis: a red rash wherever skin came into contact with the irritant
Latex allergy: symptoms can range from minor skin irritations to life threatening shock
Allergic asthma: an allergy affecting the lungs that can lead to symptoms like wheezing and difficulty breathing
Seasonal allergies: sneezing, runny nose and red/watery/scratchy eyes
Animal allergies: sneezing, runny nose. For people with asthma, it may also increase asthma wheezing.
Anaphylaxis: skin rash, nausea, vomiting, difficulty breathing and shock
Allergy to mold: coughing, itchy and watery eyes and hives
