West Seattle Books and Wine Group

The get together was great and Prost is a pretty cool pub too! We came up with a couple of ideas that are always open to review, but here is the current plan:

October 3 will be our first group meeting at my apartment

December 5 will be our second group meeting with book and location to be decided

Each meeting will have a host and co-host

The hosts will research the wine and appetizer pairing with the help of the local wine shops

Hopefully, members of our group might then purchase a few bottles of the selected wine to encourage local commerce

Book discussion will follow our wine and appetizer “education”

As a group, we will choose our next book and meeting location

Like minded friends and neighbors are encouraged to join us; this will be a lot of fun with Fall and Winter upcoming!

Not knowing everyone’s interest, we selected the following titles to inspire discussion for our first read; feel free to comment!
