Having just started a new job with long hours I feel terrible about leaving my dog at home in her crate all day. I’d like to have someone come by Monday thru Friday to feed her an early dinner and take her for a quick walk.
Is anyone familiar with a trusted person or service? I’m looking for someone/something highly reputable with stellar reviews.
Thanks!February 22, 2013 at 7:52 pm #785025
Melanie at sitstaynplay saved us when I called her from Children’s Hospital to feed and care for our dogs (one a young pup). I got her name from other referrals on the WSB–and we’d never met; I was in dire need, and she came through immediately–and with great reports about the dogs. Absolutely couldn’t recommend her any more highly.

Thanks angelescrest! I will be in touch with Melanie and see if we can work something out.
Anyone else, feel free to chime in with more suggestions. Thanks!February 22, 2013 at 8:30 pm #785027
We have used Michele Leise at Seattle’s Best Dog Walkers for the past 3 years (for our 2 dogs) and she is amazing! She takes 5-7 dogs at a time to Westcrest offleash park and my pups are super happy (and exhausted) when they get home. Michele also boards dogs at her home and gives all dogs in her care the utmost love and attention.February 22, 2013 at 10:40 pm #785028February 22, 2013 at 11:01 pm #785029

We have had an excellent dog walker for 2 years now for our German Shorthaired Pointer. Recommended to us thru friends and couldn’t be happier. Her name is Katy and she is a walker for David the Dog Walker http://davidthedogtrainer.com (whom services only west seattle). Absolutely wonderful! Feel free to say that Lucie McKee recommended them!
