JRRMemberHey there. I have a master plan for my backyard but I don’t want to spend a bunch of money. If you have any stumps or landscaping rocks hanging around, let me know. Bonus if the rocks are just those you’ve found over the years (hand-sized or slightly larger) and if the stumps are cedar. I’d take bricks, too.

Barry2012ParticipantHi JRR,
I have a bunch of old grey bricks sitting in the alley behind my house against my fence. They’re free for the taking. We got them from a house in w. seattle that was replacing their chimmney. They are grey in color.
Let me know if you’re interested and I can give you my address. You can pick them up anytime day or night.

anonymeParticipantSorry to (briefly)hijack the thread, and I’m not saying anyone on WSB would do this, but someone keeps raiding the basalt stones in the landscaped border outside my fence. The plants aren’t yours and neither are the rocks. What’s next, the mailbox? I guess some people assume that anything that isn’t nailed down outside of a fence is up for grabs…not so. If it doesn’t have a free sign on it and you don’t have permission to take it – it’s stealing.

JumullMemberJRR – are you looking for more material? I have a variety of materials I’m clearing out. South Admiral neighborhood.

JRRMemberI am! I am basically willing to take (or at least take a look at) anything in halfway decent shape.

jojofrenchfryParticipantAfter a summer-long battle with blackberry bushes and ivy, I’ve uncovered several large stumps in the upper terrace of my backyard. No clue what type of tree. I’ll probably be tossing them into the yard waste bin over the coming weeks as I prepare the area for my veggie garden (if I can move them!)
