HMC RichParticipantTime for each side to highlight the cheating in this election.
I present to you the Black Panthers of Philadelphia who Eric Holder turns a blind eye are again working in cahoots with the local Democrats. http://washingtonexaminer.com/philly-gop-poll-inspectors-being-ousted-for-dems/article/2512714#.UJktCMXypEO

TanDLParticipantYou didn’t mention the Democratic Inspectors who appear to be part of the wrong doing in this article as well… just the Black Panthers. Why is it you mention the one group and not the other?
There’s going to be cheating and fraud and frustrations on both sides of this election. No need to point out each and every specific case against just one side. Before this is all over I suspect there will be a whole lot of issues, accusations of voter discrimination, lawsuits and yelling.
November 6, 2012 at 5:12 pm #776671
kootchmanMemberHere we go again… the sheriffs department is in Philadelphia right now… a black poll worker threw a republican observer out and locked the door… good thing a judge was in chambers. Court appointed observers. Why is it Democrats are in such overwhelming numbers the ones being caught for voter frauds? Chicago has been transplanted.
November 6, 2012 at 5:49 pm #776672
wakefloodParticipantKootch, you’re only seeing what you want to see. As usual. There’s been tons of systematic disenfranchisement from the GOP since 2010. In every GOP controlled state. Defacto poll taxes via ID requirements, limiting voting periods so people who work for a living can’t make vote, moving thousands of legitimate voters off the rolls without confirming if they’re legal or not, etc. etc.
There’s one party that wants the least amount of citizens possible to vote. Wonder why they would want that?
November 6, 2012 at 5:54 pm #776673
wakefloodParticipantKootch, if your party’s ideas are so demonstrably good for the nation, why wouldn’t you fight to give every possible citizen the opportunity to vote?
Maybe it’s because those ideas have been tried and proven to be detrimental to the health of a democracy and the only way they get any play is by owning the media outlets, buying the law-makers, and creating an embedded plutocracy. The very LAST thing the GOP wants is a country OF the PEOPLE, BY the PEOPLE and FOR the PEOPLE…

JoBParticipantHMCRich
OH NO!
democrats are acting as poll inspectors!
Quick! Run those suckers out of town.
who knows what THEY will do?
evidence of actual wrong doing?
November 6, 2012 at 7:18 pm #776675
JoBParticipantkootch..
where there are democrats there is wrong doing?
it’s possible.
but it is also possible that they are simply trying to guarantee the rights of those Republican are trying to prevent from voting.
if you don’t want a brawl at the polls
stop pushing people around

charlabobParticipantFollow the link — to an extreme right wing “news”paper that claims to present the news as no one else does.
Here’s the “alternative weekly” version of the same story which explains the repug “target list of black precincts where voter harassment was planned in advance.
I’m a dedicated opposition researcher and I can tell you that the email and calls I receive from Rs and their associates encouraging me to help (or donate $ to) voter suppression efforts all over the country is shocking. I’ve gotten three links to this article so far this morning.
HMC, I’m a little surprised this comes from you — you used to be one of the reasonable r’s on these forums. Desperation apparently makes strange bedfellows.
November 6, 2012 at 7:42 pm #776677
skeeterParticipantI think Kootch owes an explanation for this:
November 6, 2012 at 8:49 pm #776678
cwitParticipantI’m sure you can do so for both sides but since I’m a flaming liberal, I’ll highlight the alleged voter intimidation from True the Vote:

November 6, 2012 at 8:56 pm #776679
kootchmanMemberWe want every eligible voter to vote. Poll tax? ha ha ha.,.. those very same folks have federal ID cards for all sorts of benefits… they sure can come up with ID’s when it’s time for government checks! Every single state with Supreme Court upheld voter ID laws were very careful to not charge a dime for an ID. No, they did not have to get birth certificate records… another lefty farce. They could use utility bills, drivers liscenses, free sheriff and PD picture iD’s… ya gotta show ID to buy cigarettes and liquor… I will take voter security anyday…and today is proving why… maybe black districts, (ACORN) enjoyed the distinction as being the most corrupt… of course that would be where enforcement goes.. where the crimes are.
November 6, 2012 at 9:01 pm #776680
JoBParticipantkootch..
“We want every eligible voter to vote.”
you sure give new meaning to the term every eligible voter kootch
November 6, 2012 at 9:13 pm #776681
wakefloodParticipantOf course, Kootch, it doesn’t matter to you that even GOP elected officials have conceded that in-person voter fraud isn’t an issue and just doesn’t happen. But that would be dealing with information you don’t want to take into account, right?
Wanna’ see something scary about voter fraud? Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QdpGd74DrBM&feature=share
November 6, 2012 at 9:19 pm #776682
wakefloodParticipantOh, and regarding voter ID, you’ll notice that many states passed those laws late enough in the election cycle to make it hard to get the appropriate ID in time. Again, the intent of these laws is clear and you don’t care so…
November 6, 2012 at 10:39 pm #776683
kootchmanMemberYes it is.. and so what’s the problem with secure voter ID? I mean let’s admit it… about 15% of our population consists of illegal aliens… and growing. Seems prudent to me. i like it and I support it. Ya gotta have ID to be an effective citizen…it’s a red herring.
November 6, 2012 at 10:42 pm #776684
kootchmanMemberAh yes.. and this… campaigning is illegal in polling stations… unless you are in Democratic Philadelphia…..
November 6, 2012 at 11:09 pm #776685
wakefloodParticipant15% of the population is illegal? Good lord, Kootch stop pulling numbers out of your Faux News a**. Most estimates are around 12-15 Million tops and that was when the economy was good, it’s been going down. Your percentage would put the total at 52 Million. With that many people do you really think they’d be begging for produce pickers in Wenatchee?
Not to mention the fact that most illegal aliens wouldn’t dream of trying to show up at a voting booth.
Red herring indeed.
November 6, 2012 at 11:11 pm #776686
miwsParticipantOh fer chrissake!
A mural, that was painted three years ago, on the wall of a school cafeteria, that happens to be the occasional polling place, is “campaigning”, and according to the chairman of the republican committee, is trying to suppress voters?!?
November 6, 2012 at 11:38 pm #776687
wakefloodParticipantYeah, grasping at straws is about all they have – at least to rational, thinking people.
Can’t wait for Obama to place 2 good progressives on the SCOTUS so we can finally overturn all those inane 5-4 decisions from the last decade. Especially Citizens United and other Corporate person-hood craziness.
But you keep plugging away on those “social” issues, Kootch. You’ll be railing at those windmills and further marginalizing yourselves into a 20yr. minority position.
And with that, I’m outta’ this Kootchfest.
November 6, 2012 at 11:38 pm #776688
funkietooParticipantNovember 6, 2012 at 11:40 pm #776689
funkietooParticipantKootchie…here is another one.
http://www.usnews.com/opinion/articles/2012/11/06/is-voter-suppression-a-real-problem
One excerpt from this article:
Deliberate voter suppression was also suspected in Ohio, where prior to the election billboards emblazoned with the words “Voter Fraud is a Felony” peppered several poor and minority neighborhoods in Columbus and Cleveland that had not been subject to allegations of voter fraud. The billboards, owned by Bain Capital subsidiary Clear Channel Communications, were eventually removed.
November 6, 2012 at 11:43 pm #776690
funkietooParticipantan another excerpt:
In Pennsylvania, an electronic voting machine was captured automatically changing a vote for President Barack Obama to one for Republican challenger Mitt Romney. The voter captured a video of the machine repeatedly placing a check mark by Romney’s name despite his repeatedly selecting Obama, causing the voting machine to be placed out of service.
November 7, 2012 at 12:44 am #776691
funkietooParticipantAnd…now Seattle Times is reporting on the voting machine that lit up ‘Romney/Ryan when the Voter selected Obama. Remember history…this happened during the Bush election too and more than ‘once’!

November 7, 2012 at 12:51 am #776692
BostonmanMemberLike it or not Mike its against the law for that picture to be in the voting location. It appears to me that the City of Brotherly Love is only loving if you vote for Obama.
