    WHO WE ARE
    We are Lien Animal Clinic, a local, busy small-animal veterinary practice in West Seattle that has been serving our community since 1951. We are a fun, hard-working group of 8 doctors and 30+ support staff that really care about each other and the patients in our care. We strive to provide our clients and their beloved critters with superior care from the moment they walk through our doors and are lucky enough to have some of the best clients you could ask for. We surround ourselves with positive co-workers who thrive in an environment where learning is encouraged, exceptional care is taught, and a little silliness is welcomed. We are looking for an addition to our team who will go the extra mile and can see themselves shine in a fast-paced, lively work space.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
    We are looking for someone to join our team that demonstrates:
    Initiative: The assistant shows willingness and aptitude to take steps in finding solutions to problems, presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. He or she takes on additional responsibility where appropriate.

    QUALIFICATIONS
    This position requires good computer and math skills. Veterinary Assistants must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of a veterinary assisting program is preferred but not required. The position requires an employee capable of lifting up to 50# unaided and able to stand or walk for most of the day. Must have the ability to learn how to pronounce, know the meaning of and spell commonly used veterinary terms. This person must be able to qualify for a Washington State Medication Clerk License.
