Traffic Signal at California and Fauntleroy

Beware – This signal still seems to be having issues. I was headed south on California, decided to use the left turn to get to Thriftway. The arrow turned yellow/red just as the car in front of me approached the signal. We sat through 2 complete cycles of the intersection with NO turn given to our lane, I finally bailed out and went straight through the intersection.

Its kind of puzzling that they can’t get these signals to operate properly.

This has been reported to the SDOT.

Thanks Franci. Yeah, I was afraid the city turning off the rapid ride priority wouldn’t put an end to the issues.

edit, I remember witnessing and reporting the same left turn signal issue about 2 years ago.
