ARCjobsParticipantARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, is seeking a Tot Sports Instructor at Hiawatha Community Center.
The classes are for ages 1.5 – 5 years old. The focus is to help build coordination, balance, and confidence while learning sports in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. Instructor is in charge of set-up, take down, and design of class. If equipment is needed the Instructor will need to let the Community Center Coordinator or Assistant Coordinator know right away what is needed.
There are 2 classes that the Instructor will teach: Parent/Child for ages 1.5 – 3 (parents must help with this class), and Tot Sports for ages 3 – 5.
Location: Hiawatha Community Center
Schedule: Flexible – current class is Tuesdays 10:30-11:15am and 11:30am-12:15pm
Start date: Tuesday, September 20, 2016
End date: To be determined
Pay range: $15-$18 per hour DOE
Requirements:
•Over 18 years of age
•Experience teaching various sports to this age group is preferred
•Must pass criminal background check
•Must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid government issued ID
