Well, since this thread it titled ‘The Bernie factor in Philadelphia it seemed appropriate.

Thanks for conceding that the Left are the disruptors this political season. It will be very interesting to see if they protest both conventions or if Bernie can appease them before Phila.

If you want to start a separate thread on Trumps overall tone, fell free. I will more than likely agree with you. Not to the point of excusing violence, however.

so, Smitty…do you blame Bernie for the violence(whatever there is)? Do you think he eggs it on? How about Trump? And do you think it’s only Bernie supporters causing violence? Or would you maybe think that some right wingers (I know that it would be a minority..right?) are posing as Bernie supporters to make waves? We do hear that every now and then. I also know quite a few Bernie supporters who would never, ever resort to violence of any kind.

Also, do you think that this violence at protests is caused by anger at “the system”?

what we see is “go ahead…I will pay your legal fees”. What we see is stories of a bloody woman reported to have been injured by a “leftist” violent protestor, and it turns out to be a planted lie…it was an actress getting into makeup for a TV show. What we see time and time again is crap from the Trump side…but…oh, protesting shouldn’t be there. But, when a “protestor” is escorted out, a T supporter punches him and people cheer…I leave it to people to make up their own minds…

    smitty..
    i don’t believe i conceded anything
what i stated is that you limit your comments (to that which you think you can defend).. totally ignoring the politically based violence spilling over to our public spaces…
