“antifa IS the fas-cist brownshirts of the global soci-alist movement.”

what are you smoking, dave? can i have some? i have money.

you didn’t even know what antifa is until buzzfeed irked some dark net neo-nazis last week. so you’re scared all of a sudden? or what? of what?!

let’s be clear: you’re calling anti-nazis the brownshirts.

    of a fantasy socialist movement.

well, it’s on the record now. that’s something, i guess.

as for the rest of your post, i feel badly for you that you don’t understand or willfully ignore what soft old leftish knute berger has to say.

i’ll freely admit that he needs a full-time proof/copy person. other than that, he ain’t hatching any bolshevik plots.

    no one is.

williamf64: There is something in the Seattle water system that causes logic to be in short supply. People move here from all over the country (including from places with immense intellectual diversity) only to be indoctrinated into some kind of cultish belief where everyone must be equalized, marginalized and homogenized–except for skin color of course! …And the crazy thing is, they know that this is impossible–so they scurry around trying to create diversity through multiculturalism. That way, if everyone speaks a different language (but always votes lib-eral), we will all get along merrily in a collective utopia that can only be guided by our endowed social masters. I think most of the lib-erals here mean well. They just don’t have much common sense.

redblack: “let’s be clear: you’re calling anti-nazis the brownshirts.” Absolutely. The real “fasc-ists” are the ones calling others “fasc-ists” while dressing up in black uniforms. Who are the ones smashing windows, looting, burning cars, stamping out free speech and punching people that disagree with them? Should I call them black shirts instead? You really need to study more than just MSN. On youtube, you can find a lot of personal video evidence from riot victims around the US and world who will show you that your narrative is wrong.

At what point does the “fantasy Social-ist movement” become reality in your mind? When Kshama Sawant runs for Mayer, Governor or President?

I have read many of Knute Berger’s articles. He just seems like an old-school marxist pitching the party line for his aging comrades. Under normal circumstances, his rhetoric isn’t bothersome when people have easy access to all points of view. But that is not the case anymore in Seattle, is it? Then again, how would you know if you are not seeing the necessity for intellectual diversity?

well, if you guys would bring some actual “intellectual diversity” instead of alternative reality it would bolster your argument. then maybe you wouldn’t feel so alone and marginalized here.

what? you think if people in seattle really really really heard what breitbart is telling them. they’d see things your way? you talk as if there’s this body of non-political people out there just waiting to be rolled into the ranks of the burgeoning seattle conservative movement. but liberals are stopping the truth from getting to them. that’s really what you think, isn’t it?

you need an enemy. your enemy defines you.

meanwhile, back on earth… you know how many people attended the 2016 34th district GOP caucuses? i do.

    30.

there’s your conservative movement in the 34th district. even if 300 attended, it would still be dwarfed by the democratic caucuses.

don’t get me wrong. i want people to hear what you guys have to say. just be intellectually honest. don’t spread bullsh!t and tell us it’s fertilizer.

then again, you guys are scared that kshama sawant is just the tip of the iceburg and that we’ll all be wearing government-made shoes or something.

Strangely, Dave, if I went to the Democratic caucuses, if they had them in Library KS, there’d be about 30. Your complaints about the political leanings do, indeed fall on deaf ears. I’m going to tell you the same thing I’m told by your ilk; if you don’t like it live somewhere else.

By the by, no one here thinks that Breitbart of Bannon are listening to a thing that is being said by anyone. They are pushing their own agenda/propaganda. If you want news there are accredited journalists out there working for AP, Reuters, BBC, Al-Jazeera (one of my favorites), Agence France [sic] and others. Facts, you incoherent righties, are immutable. The are exclusive. They do not tolerate the idea of “alternative facts” by their very nature.

I’m willing to have rational conversations about politics. I work with people that oppose my political views and we can usually have civil conversations about the events of the day and they are usually irritated by the bald faced lies that are being peddled now. You’re need to twist everything with your pretzel illogic makes you impossible to communicate with and you are ever resistant to data that supports a point of view followed by either saying that data is a left wing creation and then counter with some post from a blog that has nothing supporting it.

I recognize that you’ll sputter and call me a commie because that’s the boogie man from your generation but many of the policies I’d like to see enacted are policies that work in the rest of the 1st world developed nations. We are the dumb hillbillies of Realpolitik.

redblack: It isn’t us conservatives who are feeling like we have been marginalized. (Seattle is both the most left and most depressed city in the US). We the non-lefties are very happy to see the crumbling demise of socialism around the world. Even you have to recognize that the sphere of influence that the lib-eral prog-ressive movement has enjoyed for so long is now in decline. Maybe Seattle can hold out a little longer that other places, but the ideology is failing to inspire the next generation who gets the short end of the stick. The writing is on the wall if you only look beyond your feeding trough.

“…but liberals are stopping the truth from getting to them. that’s really what you think, isn’t it?” Yes. My proof is what happened on Nov 8th. The news has not yet reached Seattle residents.

mark47n: If you were to drink from the faucet at my house and then go around West Seattle and drink from other faucets, do you call that hydration diversity when all the water is coming from the same source in the Cascades? Your media sources all have the same thing in common. Follow the money. With that said, I think your news sources do a pretty good job covering natural disasters and other non-politicized events–of course, everything becomes distilled into political fodder after a while.

“..I’d like to see enacted are policies that work in the rest of the 1st world developed nations…” What countries? Sweden?–where the UN has projected that they will become a third word nation by 2030.

“I’m going to tell you the same thing I’m told by your ilk; if you don’t like it live somewhere else.” –Is this really the kind of diversity you support? I thought lib-erals believed everyone should have a voice? If 8% of Seattle is conservative and you think they should leave, does that mean you believe other groups should leave as well? Your rule seems to nullify the voices of minority groups. On the other hand, your party fights for special LGBT rights when they only represent 4.6% of the population, and special rights for Muslims when they are only 0.65% of the population. –is that only because they want bigger government and more taxation? Will you tell other minority groups to leave if they oppose your personal views? How do you keep your brain from exploding, or do you not have one?

hey, Dave, honey…you’re drinking that water, too…

oh, and how long have you lived here? Those “black shirts” are called anarchists. They don’t give a damn about your ideology, my ideology, anyone’s ideology. They wait for something peaceful, and insert themselves into it, creating the havoc they love to create. Of course, you’ll argue about that. It’s a librul conspiracy and fake news, I’m sure. In the meantime, Kelly is gone, and the reports are now that there are many more in Dolt45’s White House gang that had conversations with Russian during his campaign…you know, the illegal stuff. But you keep deflecting, it’s what you do.

Honestly, Dave, I think you’d be much happier in Idaho…lily white, conservative, trump worshippers, alt-right, nationalist (oops, did I forget white supremacist?).They love Breitbart and more in some places over there, I hear, and multiculturalism is probably a dirty word. There’s got to be at least one body of water where you can drop that boat, and the cost of living is probably cheaper, too.Less mentally unstable liberals, too. Maybe even better drinking water. Great place to raise a conservative family, I’ve heard. Did I mention all the conservative white people?

why should JoB or anyone else listen to White House briefings, when the man in the White House cannot bring himself to listen to Intelligence briefings. Oh, yeah…intelligence…there’s that magic word. The emperor doesn’t quite grasp that he is not all powerful yet…when he throws a tantrum and wonders why the judicial branch can review what he , or Mr. Miller, or Mr. Bannon decide what should happen.

Real things, real world….not the crap you spew every day…oh, apologies if that was rude…

    Captain Dave..
what makes you think i didn’t read/watch the White House briefings ?

i found them as accurate as always… not at all… as it turns out the White House briefings and the actual facts don’t coincide…

and by actual facts i am talking about the documentation available about who knew what and when they knew it…

that information is widely available and well sourced…
and doesn’t bode well for the White House version of the truth..

even my favorite conservative who verged on being a bully when it came to defending Trump and the White House is suddenly silent…. with good reason. This is not going to turn out well for any of us.

    jan: let’s call a spade a spade.

black bloc are the extreme and sometimes violent left end of the political spectrum, just as the neo-nazis and white supremacists are the extreme and sometimes violent right end of the political spectrum. which is why black bloc didn’t attach itself to tea party rallies.

    anarchy: no government/self-government/communal local government.

    fascism: conservative all-powerful authoritarianism.

but there are right-wing anarchists. i’m sure there are also weirdo extreme left wing racists.

    they’re all batsh!t crazy.

all of this reminds me of my favorite recent meme:

not all trump supporters are racists, but all racists are trump supporters.

JoB: Which facts do you believe are false? I have yet to see any real evidence that implicates the president in a pre-election scandal with the Russians. It seems like a lot of wishful thinking on the left. I would expect that both campaigns would have had communication with officials at various levels in most major countries–What law would prevent either campaign from contacting officials in foreign governments? There has to be more than just a contact to prove criminal activity.

What is your opinion about the financial assistance Hillary received from Saudi Arabia? or the pro-hillary hacking attempt by the Ukraine? (see: Politico “Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump backfire”).

redblack: How do you relate fas-cism to conservatives when the most prolific example in history was under a left-ist national soc-ialist model? Thus, a neo-nazi is actually a left-ist.

How do you explain the founding of the KKK by Democrats? …And why membership in the KKK remained almost exclusively Democrats for over a century?

Wasn’t the Jim Crow laws initiated by the father of prog-gressive liberal-ism? …And were they not entirely enforced by the Democrat party all the way up to 1965?

Without going back to the Crusades, can you identify any actual conservative groups that use the constitution to start riots and advocate violence?

The left-right flavor of tyranny dynamic refers to the left side of the political spectrum. You should think of it as a circle instead of a strait line (actually more like a cartesian coordinate spherical graph, but that concept is for another time).

Edit: Who is your favorite conservative? My favorite Lib-eral is Rosa Koire. she is the author of the book “Behind the Green Mask”. She also runs a website called: DemocratsAgainstUNAgenda21.com You can find here talks on YouTube as well.

JanS: You seem to frequently make reference to bodily excretions in your posts. Is everything OK with you? Perhaps whatever medication you are on is causing problems? Staying away from processed junk food, sugar, alcohol and other toxins might help. Too much grain might also be a problem so you might think about switching to non-grain alternatives like buckwheat (it cooks nice and it’s really not a grain at all). Health is happiness. Happiness is clarity of mind.

CD: do something about your out of control hyphens.

Strange how you don’t like to have your parties logic turned on yourself.

“Follow the money”. Well, all news agencies are businesses, don’t you like businesses? Being that they are accepted sources of credible journalism, that are citable whereas most internet sources are not. Also, just because someone has a periodical in print doesn’t mean that it’s credible, look at the National Enquirer! In print for decades and it noting but garbage and fictions that some credulous fools believe is real! There are accepted rules in academic circles that spell this out. Given the background you espouse I’d have expected you had a better handle on these standards. Of course, facts and academics have a liberal bias so they are suspect on their face…unless they have an R after their name, like Ben Carson. Carson who, after the election, claimed to have no memory of running for president and who claimed that the pyramids are grain silos…yeah, credible.

As to the load of bollocks about the history of the parties: have you ever heard of the Southern Strategy? It occurred in the 1960’s after the passage of the Voting Rights Act in 1965. Given that many Southern blacks left the south and also affiliated themselves with the Democrats leaving whites in the Southern bloc feeling disenfranchised. The Republicans decided to make a play for them and the end result is that the respective planks inverted. At the end of the day you have to accept the parties for what they are TODAY, not what they were 100 years ago. 100 years ago my family were fleeing the pogroms but I don’t define myself or them by that. The KKK, Aryan Nation and the American Nazi party affiliate themselves with the right. They also crawled out from under their respective rocks to endorse Trump. They’ve not done that in my lifetime.

As to the successful implementation of social policies in other countries: Canada, France, Germany, Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, to name a few. No, I won’t waste my time compiling an exhaustive list because you won’t read it.

I won’t dignify your ridiculous comments regarding constitutional riots by the left. The right have had their share of riots and violence and I won’t dignify those acts, on either side, by compiling an exhaustive list.

I’m through wasting my time here.

mark47n: When I say follow the money, look at the ownership of all major media. You will see in Wikipedia that this is a group of only six companies controls 90% of the news industry. These mega corps have many common major share holders and board members.

18 years ago, I was board chairman for a small media technology company I founded. One of our board members was a top exec from Time Warner (CEO of the interactive division). They were specifically interested in seeing that our composite imaging technology was properly aligned with the goals of the media industry. They went as far as to have an exec from Ben & Jerry’s conduct a full-day seminar for our 35 employees on the benefits of com-munism. They also required us to push the global warming narrative in our marketing and politically support Al Gore. Employees who didn’t pledge to vote for Gore were pushed out.

In 2001, I met the CEO of Columbia Pictures who told me much about the corrupt subversive ideology of people in the media business.

I don’t fault lib-erals for being mislead. If a person doesn’t have inside exposure to the media industry, it’s difficult to see the game. It took me years to figure this stuff out even after being caught up on the fringe of it.

BTW Our Seattle-based CEO was a southern democrat who turned out to be the most racist, bigoted piece of crap you would ever meet. His wife’s democrat plantation family allegedly had association with the groups you mention–so you are incorrect in implying that these “right wing” left-ist groups are conservative.

You really need to take a current unbiased assessment on your list of socialist paradises from outside your corporate information bubble.

Dave…what I have been through in the last 12 years I would wish on no one, even you…I doubt that you could handle it. Damned tired of you making personal comments to whoever on here. You have nothing. Your ideology sucks. Take you seriously? Shirley, you jest. You deflect every chance you get because you really have nothing. I can only speak for myself…maybe others on here do take you seriously. I do see, however that you no longer speak of your lord and saviour, the Hon. Mr. trump.. Why is that? You spout your ideology, and try to make intelligent conversation with others on here, by throwing in names meant to impress. sort of a jack of all trades, master of none in the intelligence world. And when push comes to shove, as I said previously, you deflect…once more bringing up Hillary time and time again…it’s an old argument. Well, not even an argument. As the cheese meister would say…”Terrible. Very bad”

    The bullies never can, Jan.

They puff out their chests, rant, rave, yell, scream, degrade others, on and on a-n-d on.

Then when called out on their bullying and other B.S. they play the victim, O-M-G!! They are so oppressed.

Of course, they now have permission to go full bore with their bullying, thanks to the occupant of the White House, who just wrapped up with over an hour about whining how bad the press and others have treated him.

Well, I can only imagine that the entire hour plus was largely comprised of that. I was gone for about 40-45 minutes on a couple of errands. He was whining about the unfair press when I left (is the word “left” supposed to be hyphenated?) and he was whining about the unfair press when I got back.
