I can’t seem to find Support our Troops stuff. The nephew just went overseas and we want a ribbon for our tree and maybe a magnet. Any ideas? As always, we would love to shop West Seattle businesses.

I’d say your best bet is to order online. There are TONS of websites that sell all kinds of “support our troops” stuff. The choices are endless and many even let you customize your own with the person’s name, etc. Just Google “support our troops.” Some of them even use the proceeds for veteran related causes. It sounds like you were hoping to shop locally, but I can’t think of anywhere to recommend. When all else fails, a plain old yellow ribbon does the trick. Blue Star banners are easy to find online as well. They represent the fact that a family member of yours is actively serving in the Armed Forces (any branch) during a time of war. I had mine on my door while my husband was deployed as well as a sticker on my car. Good luck and let us know if you come across anything locally!!

P.S. the hubby just recommended that you check out vfwstore.org. Lots to choose from there and you know the money is going to veteran related causes.
