Mr.BParticipantBright Water Waldorf School seeks an experienced teacher to serve as the Spanish Teacher for Grades 1-8 for the 2017-18 school year. In addition to the knowledge and practice of teaching, our goal is have a teacher who is eager to bring the cultures of Spanish speaking communities into the classroom.
Qualifications:
BA or BS required – preferably in the study of language
Waldorf teaching experience preferred
Washington State Teaching Certificate preferred
Experience teaching Spanish to grade school age students
Strong teaching, interpersonal, and student management skills
Strong communication and organizational skills
Be adaptable; able to change work plan based on needs of particular classApplicants must also:
Be able to lift 55 pounds
Be able to climb stairs
Clear fingerprint background check
Have current CPR, first aid, and bloodborne pathogens training certificatesCompensation:
Salary commensurate with experience.
