mommymParticipantSmall in home daycare hiring an outgoing, enthusiast assistant to work hand in hand with owner.
We are a small, fun group who love to play, dance, sing and be active..
POSITIONS NEED TO BE FILLED ASAP !!
Salary based upon experience and background and can increase if you demonstrate your ability to teach efficiently
are completely reliable, on time and a good fit with our children.
Requirements to be considered for this job:
-A quick learner and able to adapt to changing daily children’s schedules.
-Experience preferred in an in home daycare or childcare center.
-Able to pass a criminal history/fingerprint background check..
-Must have CPR and First Aid training as well as HIV course (may obtain at time of hiring).
-Plans, adapts and schedules age appropriate curriculum involving various activities to stimulate children’s cognitive skills, abilities and development.
-Provides continuous supervision to children enrolled in care; ensures health and safety of children.
-Maintains Center, rooms and play areas in a clean, orderly, and safe condition; sets up rooms and areas for various activities such as lunch, naps, games, etc.
-Records daily observations of children’s behavior and activities; monitors behavioral patterns and develops assessment and profiles.
-Maintains accurate attendance and enrollment records; maintains appropriate confidential records.
-Must be at least 18 and older.
-Have reliable transportation and be 100% completely reliable. You being on time every day is mandatory.
-Willing to complete 20 hours of STARS training at own expense.
-Outgoing, friendly, able to interact with parents in a positive and enthusiastic way.
-Willing to work 2-4 hours a day alone so owner can work on business aspects of daycare
Hours will typically be somewhere between 28-35 hours a week with a guarantee of 28 hours per week.
