Since Champion is no longer in business here in WS, has anyone had any experiences with other small engine repair and lawn mower blade sharpening shops?

Southwest Saw and Mower. 10843 First Avenue South. (rear of the bldg.) 206-935-4880. I have taken my mower there for 30 yrs. Excellent sharpen/mower maintenance work, prices good and they don’t keep the mower for weeks and weeks. (used to be in West Seattle)

I ended up using Rob’s Sharpening Service in Burien, SW 122nd and 1st Ave. Has an in home shop and handles many small engine projects. He did a good job, and quick turn around. At least its somewhat local.

Thanks for the recommendations. I tried to give Champion my business more than a year ago and they never came to pick up my lawn mower even though they claimed to have time to look at it the same day as my inquiry. I waited 3 or 4 days and they never showed.

Unfortunately the owner of Champion passed away recently. The fact that another repair company poached his phone number from his website turned me off.

There is a small shop in White Center I believe on 102nd? It is a residence and a guy who works out of his home. Someone can correct me if I am wrong on the street.
