Side Sewer Replacement

Can anyone recommend a side sewer contractor in the area? We just had ours scoped after seeing a few sinkholes pop up in the yard this winter. The results of the scope did not look good. We’ve gotten a few estimates but are looking for more. Anyone have experience with a repair like this?

First had Bob Oates Plumbing come, do scope and give bid which seemed reasonable. They dug a $4000 hole and THEN came back with the “real” bid … filled with “contingencies” … the City used the term “bait and switch” …. it was thousands and thousands higher than the original which he neglected to tell us was for only a small part of the job. I stopped the job.
I am now working with Metropolitan Sewer. Their bid was very reasonable and contains NO contingencies. Can’t tell you ultimate outcome because work currently in progress, but with no contingencies in contract it will be fine.

Talk to Phil @ Alki Sewer! he’s the best. Gave us way more info and service and honest/detailed estimate than Beacon. Totally delivered, good crew, cleaned up well, etc. He’s a bit of a character, but does great work. :)
