Where can I take my sewing machine to be serviced? It’s a simple machine, nothing fancy and prefer simple, not-too-expensive maintenance close by.

Hi EcoJill! I use to own the West Seattle Fabric Company and while we no longer repair sewing machines {we’re too busy with other parts of our business} I have a recommendation that is awesome – but unfortunately a little bit of a drive. There is nobody locally that repairs machines so I promise it’s worth the trek. I would suggest City Sewing and Vacuum in Shoreline. They are totally reasonable {around $80-90 if it’s not a total overhaul). Plus they won’t up sell you and try getting you to buy a super shine, new expensive model. I know it’s a drive but I swear you’ll be happy. :) Best of Luck.
