I had this exact same question, and wanted to start slowly (No fancy poses, strength stuff, balance poses, or flow movements). I found starting with free online yoga (floor focused) was a good way to start, then go to a few beginner yoga classes to make sure your form is good. I really like Yoga by Candace (she’s online and on You Tube). Her Restorative Yoga for Beginners is all floor work for gentle stretching to wake up your body. I also recommend her Hip Opening Sequence….boy did that change my life!! Good luck and congrats on trying something new!
