    My family is planning an addition to our home, but my architect wife has some questions that a structural engineer would be helpful in answering. Does anyone have experience with someone in this line of work?

    Consult with Jim Johnston of JK Johnston Structural Engineers. Jim is a neighborhood guy and a great structural engineer.

    Can’t recommend this guy more highly — did the structural on current house…. Marc Malsam of Malsam Tsang in Pioneer Square and lives in West Seattle….. 206-498-2674 is his cell.
