My car was hit and ran today (12/8) at approximately 5:15 p.m. by a woman in a Toyota Yaris, license ***YKR in the Junction in front of Husky Deli. A HUGE thank you to the very nice gentleman who called the police with the license plate. After rear-ending my car and screaming at me she drove away at a VERY high rate of speed. I tried to follow for a couple of blocks to get the license number but she was running through stop signs along 44th Ave. SW at what seemed like at least 50-60 miles an hour endangering anyone who might have come along on the east/west side streets. I came back around the block to thank this nice man, but I was unable to find him. Again, Kind Sir thank you for your help!! The police have been notified, came out to our house and this dangerous driver will be contacted and will be charged with hit and run.
