1inhidingParticipantMy wife and I were walking around the neighborhood today, and noticed several brown spots all over the streets around the Gatewood Hill neighborhood. Apparently the truck that made garbage pickup this morning was leaking something…and it ain’t spring fresh! I can only wait for the next big rainstorm and hope it washes away (though I hate to think that it will simply wash into the storm drains)

ShibaguyzMemberCall 206-684-3000 and ask to speak to Mr. Marshall. I have personally called him a few times and I know my neighbors have as well about the sloppy garbage pick up in our neighborhood. They were even skipping our street for recycling some weeks!
Just tell whoever you get in garbage/recycling collection that you were told to speak directly to Mr. Marshall. We haven’t missed a recycling collection in a while now and the pick up men haven’t left our street strewn with garbage since we all called.

flowerpetalMemberThat fowl spillage must be widespread because it was at every spot that the truck stopped in my neighborhood near Westwood Village. The light sprinkles of rain have only made it stinkier. Thanks Shibaguyz for the tip!

JeraldParticipantNot directly related, but I noticed this mornig following several Rabanco trucks headed north, that they had trash flying out of them as they roared along. Nasty.
