Location: Seattle, WA (Weekly classes are taught at various locations including Phinney, Mountlake Terrace, Northeast Seattle, West Seattle, and Burien. Applicants must be willing to travel throughout the city.)

Compensation: $30.00 per hour of class taught

WhirlyBuds Dance Company is a creative movement company that caters to the energetic and whimsical preschool crowd, hosting weekly classes at various child care centers throughout the Seattle area. We are looking to immediately hire two part time dance instructors for toddler and preschooler movement classes. The ideal candidate will have a background in both dance and child care.

WhirlyBuds classes are taught on-site at preschools and child care facilities throughout Seattle, so applicants must be willing to travel. One position involves teaching a majority of classes in the West Seattle, White Center, and Burien area. The other position involves teaching a majority of classes in the Ballard, Phinney, Greenwood, Shoreline, and Northeast Seattle neighborhoods. We are currently offering around 6 teaching hours over 2-3 days each week. The hours have the potential to be around 8 hours of classes per week with the option for more growth in the coming months. While most WhirlyBuds classes occur in the morning (9am-12pm), some classes are taught in the afternoon and as after school programs (anywhere in the 1:30-4:30pm timeframe). Ideally our new team members would be available to teach morning classes 2-3 days a week and afternoon classes 1 day a week.

If you are interested in learning more, we’d love to hear from you. Introduce yourself to us at team@whirlybuds.com and ask for a detailed job description and application.
