Praise Team Director

Tibbetts United Methodist Church is in need of a Praise Team Director.

You will have the following qualities:

1. Have a spirituality and theology in harmony with that of the congregation.

2. Have experience in directing choirs/groups.

3. Be enthusiastic and creative.

4. Communicate well with praise team and pastor and other musicians.

Tasks:

1. To recruit and develop the Praise Team.

2. To choose music, rehearse with and lead the Praise Team in singing in worship at least twice a month September to June.

3. To meet regularly with the Pastor to plan music according to themes for the weekly services.

4. To lead singing during the worship service including using the members of the Praise Team to lead the congregation in the Praise Songs at the beginning of the worship service.

Rehearsals are at 9am on Sundays with the service at 10am.

Accompanist provided by the church if needed.

This is a compensated position.
