HMC RichParticipantNo humor here. We were lied to from the beginning.

Obama lied, people died. Sound familiar.

HMC RichParticipantGive the abandonment by this administration and the cover up by them over the deaths of four people a rest? NOT ON YOUR LIFE.
Isn’t it comforting to know that Hillary and the President got your back?
Hillary was briefed at 2am on 9/12 by the second in command who had spoken with the late ambassador DURING the attack. He just testified before Congress.
The Intelligence “talking points” changed 12 times. They changed it, took out references to Al Quaida. It never said anything about a video.
THEY LIED ABOUT THE VIDEO WHICH HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH AN AL QUIADA ATTACK. Hillary was told what was happening in Libya. CIA told her what happened but She repeated the made up Video story causing the attack after she knew the truth. Now why would they keep repeating it was caused by a video when the video had absolutely nothing to do with it? Well because just a few days before the President said Al Quiada was on the run and that He got Bin Laden. But it was election season….
This isn’t going away. More is coming out. Even parts of the mainstream media are finally realizing that something stinks. Talk about transparency. NOT FROM THIS ADMIN. What a disaster.

dobroParticipant“…and the cover up by them over…”
Could you please state exactly what is being covered up? Something factual please, not talking points.

WorldCitizenParticipantHMC:
I want to try and look at this from your point of view to see what the big deal is. Just a couple of questions. First, what is the president and his staff trying to cover up that is so important to you? Second, how often is it that you think talking points are typically changed by intelligence officials before being delivered? Third, how is this attack worse than the 13 others that resulted in US casualties under the previous administration? (For reference, I have details about all of them listed below.)
I don’t understand the particular outrage over this security lapse. All of these attacks are unfortunate and deserve attention…why this one is getting so much is beyond me. I have my suspicions, but I’d like to hear your reasoning for the beating of this dead horse.
January 22, 2002. Calcutta, India. Gunmen associated with Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami attack the U.S. Consulate. Five people are killed.
June 14, 2002. Karachi, Pakistan. Suicide bomber connected with al-Qaida attacks the U.S. Consulate, killing 12 and injuring 51.
October 12, 2002. Denpasar, Indonesia. U.S. diplomatic offices bombed as part of a string of “Bali Bombings.” No fatalities.
February 28, 2003. Islamabad, Pakistan. Several gunmen fire upon the U.S. Embassy. Two people are killed.
May 12, 2003. Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Armed al-Qaida terrorists storm the diplomatic compound killing 36 people including nine Americans. The assailants committed suicide by detonating a truck bomb.
July 30, 2004. Tashkent, Uzbekistan. A suicide bomber from the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan attacks the U.S. Embassy, killing two people.
December 6, 2004. Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Al-Qaida terrorists storm the U.S. Consulate and occupy the perimeter wall. Nine people are killed.
March 2, 2006. Karachi, Pakistan again. Suicide bomber attacks the U.S. Consulate killing four people, including U.S. diplomat David Foy who was directly targeted by the attackers. (I wonder if Lindsey Graham or Fox News would even recognize the name “David Foy.” This is the third Karachi terrorist attack in four years on what’s considered American soil.)
September 12, 2006. Damascus, Syria. Four armed gunmen shouting “Allahu akbar” storm the U.S. Embassy using grenades, automatic weapons, a car bomb and a truck bomb. Four people are killed, 13 are wounded.
January 12, 2007. Athens, Greece. Members of a Greek terrorist group called the Revolutionary Struggle fire a rocket-propelled grenade at the U.S. Embassy. No fatalities.
March 18, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Members of the al-Qaida-linked Islamic Jihad of Yemen fire a mortar at the U.S. Embassy. The shot misses the embassy, but hits nearby school killing two.
July 9, 2008. Istanbul, Turkey. Four armed terrorists attack the U.S. Consulate. Six people are killed.
September 17, 2008. Sana’a, Yemen. Terrorists dressed as military officials attack the U.S. Embassy with an arsenal of weapons including RPGs and detonate two car bombs. Sixteen people are killed, including an American student and her husband (they had been married for three weeks when the attack occurred). This is the second attack on this embassy in seven months.

JanSParticipantPlease remember this. The definition of “Benghazi”…”Oh, crap, we gotta get Hillary before 2016”

i wish the key words in your last post weren’t “by this Administration” .. but they are:(
i too am concerned that my government lies to me regularly.. but i realize it is a function of our government.. not just this particular administration.
August 2, 2013 at 5:44 pm #777625
HMC RichParticipantIt should be noted that I don’t find any comfort in complaining about this administration. But they make it impossible. I just hope when Republicans gain power again, I will not look at them with rose colored glasses just because they are MY guys when they mess up.
The damage done by these last two administrations concerning privacy and Liberty will hurt us in the future. It is already hurting some right now. The mothers of the men who were murdered in Benghazi would like some answers too.
CNN is not “Fox News” The CIA is actively keeping information from coming to light. http://thelead.blogs.cnn.com/2013/08/01/exclusive-dozens-of-cia-operatives-on-the-ground-during-benghazi-attack/
CBS News Sharyl Attkisson has had her computer hacked. Oh, Ain’t that AMERIKKKA.
It seems this administration and the last and it’s agencies have trashed the first amendment. As Reverend Wright said. America’s Chickens Are Coming Home To Roost.
August 2, 2013 at 6:21 pm #777626
JanSParticipantIf the Repubs currently in office (i.e., in Congress), continue with their non-working ways, I’m afraid that they are not going to “gain power again” anytime in the near future. I am referring to the John Boehners, the Mitch McConnells, etc. of this do nothing Congress, esp. The House members. Their approval ratings are now down in the teens.

JanSParticipantRich…a quote from one of the more liberal news commentators, initials RM…
“Every time Republicans vote to repeal Obamacare — today was #40 — they reinforce the impression that they’re just not a serious governing party.
Americans are laughing at them, but the GOP isn’t in on the joke.”

although making operatives take lie detector tests may be news to some.. it’s not surprising
nor is it the least bit surprising that the CIA was operating out of a US Embassy
you do know that’s pretty much standard operating procedure and has been since i was a kid…
