Part-time nanny with car needed for two boys (10 and 12) for summer and school year, approx. 6-10 hours/week, initially. Additional hours may be available if you take on additional household duties. I’m looking for an experienced nanny with a car who can also do light housework and prepare meals on Thursday and Friday afternoons. Can you handle two rough-and-tumble brothers of this age?

During the summer you would pick up the boys from camp at 3pm or 4pm, take them back to my West Seattle home, prepare a simple meal for them, pack lunches for the next day, and generally hang out with them and have fun until about 6:30pm. Exact hours are negotiable. They love skate parks, Alki, art, music, soccer, etc. During the school year you would pick them up from school, supervise homework, prepare dinner, etc.

This position also requires light housework, including laundry, kitchen cleaning after meal preparation, helping the boys clean and organize their rooms, supervision of chores, and general tidying. We already have a regular housecleaning service. The position will also require you to run occasional errands and help keep the kitchen stocked with food for the boys’ lunches, snacks, etc.

We are especially interested in candidates with interest or experience in any of the following areas: academics/tutoring, music (guitar, bass, piano, keyboard, voice, songwriting), sports (soccer, track, skate boarding), languages (especially Spanish), coding/computer skills. Additional work hours will be available on occasional weekends and other weekdays, if desirable. Hourly rate is competitive, and will ultimately depend on experience, effectiveness, and breadth of skills. Please email resume and cover letter to <edgeofpanic@gmail.com>.
