We are a happy West Seattle family looking for a caring, responsible and experienced nanny to care for our three children – preschool, elementary, and middle school ages.
You must have experience in nannying, child care or au pair work. You must love children, as well as pets, and be mature, reliable, trustworthy, punctual and well presented. Work hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 12:30-5:30 P.M. plus an occasional evening or weekend. We are a non-smoking household and would prefer a non-smoker.

    Responsibilities will include:

After school pick-up and transportation to/from activities
Prepare meals and snacks (and clean up)
Play with the kids and help with homework
    Some light house work
Letting the dog out as necessary

Must be outgoing and fun-loving but also willing to provide structure. You must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and own mode of transportation. References and background check will be required. Please respond with your contact information.

Hello, my name is Alexis and I am a recent college graduate from Central Washington University, majoring in Public Relations and minoring in Spanish. I have over seven years of paid nanny and babysitting experience and I would love the opportunity to work with you and your family. I have lived in West Seattle my whole life so I am very familiar with the area. I also have my own car and a clean driving record. I am very outgoing and active and I have years of experience as a tutor, so I will definitely be able to provide structure in a fun-loving way.

I look forward to hearing from you, I am available for a in-person or phone interview. Feel free to call or text me at (206) 551-6726. Thank you!

Hello, I assume the woman in the first response got the job, she sounded perfect, but if that ended up not being a fit for your both I too have experience being a nanny/care giver, live in West Seattle, love all pets, am a pretty decent cook, drive a Prius, have a clean driving record, experience being a tutor, and while I can’t vouch for loving every kid I meet I certainly love the last pair of extraordinary young men I had the privilege to get to know and take care of – but they grew up.
