Puget Sound Puppers LLC has an opening for a motivated candidate to join our team of compassionate and dedicated Professional Dog Walkers in West Seattle. Hours will average 12-20 hours per week once training is complete, depending on our scheduling needs. Candidates must be available for 3 to 6 hours between 10am and 4pm, Monday through Friday. Some weekend availability is ideal (we pay time and a half for most weekend walks), but not required. Starting pay is $14-$15/hour, depending on experience. After the 90 probationary period, employees with at least a “Good” review rating receive a $1/hr raise, plus additional money each pay period to help offset the cost of gas.

We want to work with like-minded people to support the vision of changing our world, one dog and one person at a time. No experience is required, but the sort of people who join our team show a commitment to working with dogs and other pets for the long term. This is a great job for aspiring dog trainers, or anyone interested in working with dogs and learning about their behavior.

If you think you’d be a good fit, please reply with:

All candidates will be asked to complete a separate application questionnaire. The hiring process also involves a background check regarding conviction and arrest records in compliance with Seattle’s Fair Chance Employment Ordinance, SMC 14.17. Applicants will be provided an opportunity to explain or correct background information.
