The detailed current contents of the PSMSL databank are described via files accessed from the PSMSL web page:
http://www.psmsl.org/
In particular, this PSMSL home page points to
http://www.psmsl.org/data/obtaining/map.html
which describes how to access the MSL data sets. The primary identifier in the PSMSL database is the station ID. This is a unique integer that is assigned to each tide gauge site and will not change going forward. All files (both data files and pages on the website) will use this unique identifier to refer to a station.
Station pages provide most of the station information. ( NOTE: replace
the #STATION ID# below with the appropriate number )
