In particular, this PSMSL home page points to

which describes how to access the MSL data sets. The primary identifier in the PSMSL database is the station ID. This is a unique integer that is assigned to each tide gauge site and will not change going forward. All files (both data files and pages on the website) will use this unique identifier to refer to a station.
