Left turns by vehicles are not permitted:

Thank you for writing to the Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) regarding your traffic suggestions. We value the contribution that residents bring to transportation issues.
Vehicles are not permitted to make a left turn from Manning St. to Avalon. We had someone do a quick review and the signs appear to be adequate but the pavement markings did seem faded. We are going to look deeper at what little changes we can make to help alleviate these turning movements. We also gave the Channelization group (paint on the street) this location as a reinstallation request for this year weather permitting.
