New, modified Hum?

Several times in the last month, including last night, I’ve been awakened by what sounds like a ‘new’ hum. The sound doesn’t have the high, whining edge of the old hum, but has the same low, pulsing,vibrational quality. I didn’t get up to look at the clock, but I’d guess it stopped about 3 a.m. Anyone else hearing this?

Aaahh, Mr. P (for predictable, as well as a reference to your thought…process). I knew even as I was writing the above post that your response would be rapid and would probably involve Barry White. You did not disappoint.

Still, I can’t believe I’m the only one experiencing these nocturnal omissions…er, renditions. Oh, never mind.
