Four close coyote sightings in the last three days south of Camp Long (34th & Juneau, 32nd & Findlay, 31st & Juneau). They’ve been seen between houses, on side streets and trotting in and out of greenbelts. Very calm and confident.

Another sighting within the east boundary of the park itself yesterday.

Usually just a lone solider (not sure if it’s the same one or if the pack is hidden) but definitely roaming about.

Just wanted to warn the pet owners, again: “Coyotes in the ‘hood”!

Of course they’re around. They live in the greenbelt that borders High Point. Neighborhood House worked at one point to educate the neighborhood because some were feeding them, they didn’t know not to. Also keep garbage covered and no pet food left out, also not dropping food remnants as they themselves traverse the area and the park. Maybe with new residents it needs to be brought to attention again.
