HRGDIVINGParticipantGlobal Diving & Salvage, Inc. is the largest diving contractor on the West Coast, based out of Seattle, WA, a leading provider of marine construction and infrastructure support services in the United States, and an internationally recognized casualty responder.
We are currently seeking a Marketing Communications Coordinator to join our team in West Seattle. This position is responsible for supporting the proposal writing process, assisting the marketing team and supporting the marketing administrative efforts of the company. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will perform a range of copywriting and formatting duties to support the execution of the RFP/RFQ process, in addition to a number of support and administrative duties related to the daily operations of the marketing department.Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Work with service line and regional personnel as needed to format and write technical proposals and RFPs/RFQs. This includes proofreading and copywriting material that is both technical in nature, as well as compelling from a sales/marketing perspective.
Create, proofread, and manage SOQ’s (statement of qualifications) & write diver resumes
File and track job files; including job descriptions, photos, and relevant information across multiple service lines
Maintain and organize the internal drive of marketing files so they are easily accessible to personnel company wide
Assist with copywriting, proofreading, and editing of marketing communications such as case studies, articles, blogs, etc.
Assist with the inventory management and distribution of company schwag program
Assist with tracking of marketing initiatives and details to ensure timely execution to pre-planned outcomes
Facilitate the production and implementation of marketing materials
Coordinate trade show details of registrations, materials management, and execution of show details
Provide necessary help to facilitate coordination of mailing lists and CRM-managed client information
Track and file PR releases
Assist with the marketing and coordination of major company events, such as annual golf tournament, holiday party, etc.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred such as Journalism or EnglishExperience
2 – 3 years’ experience in marketing, with a strong emphasis on copywriting skills, formatting documents and proofreading/editing skills
Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
Knowledge of the various functions and tasks performed within a marketing department
Ability to work with colleagues in different Service Lines & Regions and understand company cultural differences
Experience working in a service oriented business desiredKnowledge/Skills
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Knowledge of Process Improvement
Excellent written, verbal, grammar and communication skills
Proficient in copywriting and/or technical writing
Advanced organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal and team skills
Microsoft Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Experience in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
Ability to work effectively with multiple individuals and manage several projects at oncePhysical / Mental Requirements
Perform work in an office setting
