foodon45thParticipantOpening soon, we are a locally owned community-focused eatery located in West Seattle. We are now accepting resumes for fun, enthusiastic, and friendly team members.
Kitchen Manager –
• Prepares food required
• Responsible for the daily operations of the kitchen
• Provides professional leadership and direction to kitchen personnel
• Ensures all recipes, food preparations, and presentations meet specifications and commitment to quality
• Maintains a safe, orderly, and clean kitchen
• Demonstrates this by example, using proper food-handling techniques
• Assist with menu planning
• Verifies that kitchen staff follow all recipes and portions sizes correctly
• Ensures kitchen and storage areas are kept clean and organized
• Product Ordering
• Maintain Inventory
• Staff Scheduling
The right candidates will be highly motivated and show good leadership and food preparation qualities, will have at least 2 year’s experience in a commercial kitchen and willing to work evenings and weekends. The Kitchen Manager acts as the steward of that reputation, acting as the first point of contact for kitchen customer service, leading staff to complete shift responsibilities, and working with Market to fulfill orders and offer a high level of customer service to our customers. Previous experience in managing people and business systems is preferred.Kitchen Staff: Prep Cooks, Sandwich Makers and Dishwashers –
Work in a clean, newly renovated kitchen.
