JanSParticipantIf I had more than two thumbs they would all be up, for sure. And..even on this little forum, we have been told that we are that dreaded “woman thing”…too emotional.. We have been talked down to, called names, and been gloated over. We have been told to buck up, get over it, and “we need to work together now”, by ….well….you know who by – there are plenty of them out there.

captainDaveParticipantPeople who continue to think that this election was anything about gender are simply out of touch with reality. If you swapped bodies between the two candidates (Hillary having Trump’s background and platform, and Trump having hers), Hillary would have won by an enormous landslide. America loves an underdog. But, Hillary was the center of the crony establishment during a time when most were sick and tired of it. Hillary lost because she was a bad candidate with a bad history and a bad platform. No woman should consider Hillary’s failure to be anything more than what it was–a colossal screw up by the DNC. If she was not a woman, she probably would have not even achieved thirty percent of the vote.

To anyone paying even the slightest bit of attention and of course doesn’t see Racism, Sexism, Homophobia, Islamaphobia , Claustrophobia, Kleptomania, Arachnophobia, is there a ‘ Transgender-phobia yet ? Well let me know when. For anyone that doesn’t see Hate-phobia in Every decision and paid attention to even the most Liberal of media there are some clear facts.
1) 70% of those polled felt Hillary was UN-trustworthy.
2) That same number of people felt that the Country was going in the Wrong direction so when the Hill-ster embraced the OBama agenda it made things clear.
3) I still could not find anyone that could point to an accomplishment that she managed to achieve. Except maybe that stunning Russian Reset button or Libya ( Oop’s I didn’t mean Benghazi because ” What difference does that make anyway ” ?
Then you throw in a bit about Sweet Willy’s exploits with Monica and settling out of court to Paula Jones for ( $800,000 ) which never hints to guilt when you pay ( $ 800k ) for someone to shut up ? Of course Hillary led the efforts to Trash them and actually referred to one of them or both as ” Bimbo’s and Liar’s ” . That is fighting for Women. ?
I won’t even mention the Crimes committed by the Foundation. Especailly the complete and absolute Rip Off & Scam of Haiti.
But, my favorite and I feel was the true icing on the ” Proverbial ” Cake was the fact that she conspired with that wonderfully warm bundle of Integrity ( Debbie Wasserman Schultz ) to Scam ” Crazy Bernie ” out of his Soviet Revolution by using the Super Delegates to ensure her Victory. of course noone would know about this if it wasn’t for that whistle blowing hero ” WikiLeaks “.
So, she actually scammed her own party the DNC and Millions of Democrat voters and how does she dispel this rumor and instill confidence to Democrats , Independants & the DNC that she wasn’t a Sleezeball ? Well.. After Debbie Wasserman Schultz Resigns in disgrace Hillary actually hires her Immediately to help her in her Campaign ! Holy Crap ! Nothing deflects guilt like hiring the chief conspirator in a Vote Robbing scheme to a paying position in your organization.

The main reason why the Electoral College exists is to give a voice to the smaller states aka the ” little guy “.
The whole idea is to force the candidates to listen to the entire country and to campaign and listen to their issues, problems & ideas and to relate to Everyone NOT just the large population Centers. If we just went off of the popular vote than the Candidates would simply blow off the a majority of the country and simply Campaign in the Large population states and since the Democrats pride themselves on inclusion and standing up and defending the disenfranchised minorities than to elect a President simply off of the popular Vote would be a Crime. Correct ?
So, it must be a HUGE relief to all of you considerate Justice seeking Liberals that we have that Electoral College or millions of citizens would have NO voice whatsoever and THAT is just not acceptable to the Liberal Ideology.
Whew.. If it wasn’t for those hard fought and ” etched in Stone” Liberal values of embracing and standing up for those that typically wouldn’t have a voice in our democratic system we might actually have that SleezeBall Hillary in the White House.

The democrat party was diminished to just a shadow of what it was believed to have been prior to November 8th. It can hardly be considered a national party anymore since so many states lost senate seats and governorships to conservatives. Democrats now only have complete control in five states where Republicans now fully control half the states.
JanS: There is a logical argument that can define progressive liberalism as a mental disorder because it involves the process of willfully blocking out contradictory information to support a political narrative. In truth, I think adherence to modern liberalism is caused far more often by laziness and peer pressure anxiety rather than a true mental disorder.
TuesdayRod: Progressive Liberalism is actually opposite in most respects to classical liberalism. “Progressive Liberalism” was a fancy name used to market communism to the low-thinking masses. People who truly believe in the dogma of progressive liberalism are communists. I highly recommend the recently released documentary “The Enemies Within” for those who want to understand this. I think I have been pretty tolerant, considering all the false labels. I don’t agree with the current dogma that only liberals can be blunt. Now, why don’t you point out the specific offensive “name calling” I have done that isn’t deserved?

metrognomeParticipantcD, so what I hear you saying is that Republicans are profoundly ashamed that they have lost the popular vote in 6 of the last 7 presidential elections (and won the 7th only because Bush43 was shrewd enough to lie us into an unnecessary war with Iraq simply because war presidents are pretty much always re-elected) so you had to rely on 20 years of Faux Noise smearing the Clintons along with ridiculous conspiracy theories, endless Congressional investigations that have resulted in nothing except TV face time for Republicans, fake Internet news, gerrymandering and voter suppression efforts in several states, and the assistance of the Russian government and the head of the FBI, to convince enough people in certain swing states to vote for T rump, thereby denying the presidency to the candidate the majority of voters wanted. In other words, the majority of voters did not want T rump to be president. The majority of voters did want Hillary to be president.

If not for the invalid votes of illegal aliens in California, mainstream media bias, and 2x campaign spending over Trump, Hillary would have been one of the biggest losers in half a century.
