Homes With History Tour

I haven’t seen any publicity for the SW Historical Societies’ “Homes with History Tour.”

It seems that there wasn’t one last year, or did I miss it? Was Mrs. P. the main organizer, and did her death cause the tour to go kaput?

I was hoping that the Centennial tour would include a house from every decade up to current times for a bit of variety.

I miss it , too. I’ve seen the insides of quite a few really interesting houses in WS.. I think it just got to be too much for them to handle…

I’ve been interacting fairly heavily with the SW Historical Society folks in recent weeks re: Log House Museum etc. and if there was going to be one, I’d probably have gotten an announcement by now … will ping them to ask — TR

update: just heard from Marcy @ SW Historical Society. No tour this year, the prospective chairs “backed out” and too much organizing was required to recover from that … TR
