3timesWSParticipantNeighborly has come to West Seattle! I’ve just started using their awesome services and I love them. They are the perfect answer to household chores, yard work, Goodwill runs, just about anything. They are dependable, professional and plain nice to have around. If you want to try them, download the app here: http://www.neighborlyapp.com and use the code, N63YUUX and you’ll get a free week. You’ll be happy you did. :)

JanSParticipantso…from the website…you pay a monthly fee ($59) plus pay for each occurance starting at 12 bucks and going up? It gives an example of $19 for cleaning the grill. Is that how it really works? My first thought is ….Are we that lazy , and that well off to have that kind of money to spend? But, to each his own…if it works for you, hey, go right ahead :)

JanSParticipantok…I looked again….you can get a monthly membership, or pay the individual fee…each level of membership gives you so many credits per month…starts at $59, goes up to$79, and then $159 (15 credits). Sorry for misreading it…might be worth it to people who are busy…

anonymeParticipantThis reads more like an advertisement than a reader ‘recommendation’. It appears that the option to report a post has disappeared….

PLSParticipantYeah, I’d agree anonyme. That code probably is a kickback and the OP is first timer.

3timesWSParticipantHi there – Just to clarify. My comment on Neighborly is not an advertisement, just a personal testimonial. They really do a good job and my experience with their staff has been very pleasant. Kind of like the name of the company… Neighborly. :)

grayson111ParticipantI use them and I love them. Everyone that has come over has been really sweet and nice. I’ve used them to cook casseroles, dump run, cleaning my kitchen and bathroom, raking my yard and they walk my dog couple of times a week. Every customer has a code you can share to give folks a “free week.”

wsea98116ParticipantOf course it’s not a personal testamonial (if that implies objective recommendation)! The poster receives some kind of reward or compensation for “spreading the word” about this service. Otherwise, no code would be needed to tie back to the advertising member- the company would simply offer everyone a free week! The member specific code compensates the telling member, thereby compelling telling member to spread the code! Not only is it a fake rave, but it’s a bad fake rave.
When OP states- “use the code- you’ll be glad you did!” He really means- “use the code- I’ll be glad you did!”
