Seattle will stubbornly remain a bastion of leftist ideology until people feel the pain of soviet-style government oppression. The departure of small businesses and entrepreneurial talent will continue to drain out of the City for a while until we either become like Detroit or wake up to reality. Seattle is a microcosm of what the country could have become under Hillary–headed towards a two-class society of crony wealth and abject poverty. Our homeless masses and hundred-million dollar mansions are a good indication of this.

Trump won because he identified an underrepresented sector of the electorate which turned out to be the infamous “silent majority”. Seattle has a lot of beaten down silent voices that will likely be empowered in the next mayoral election. I hope some of our neighbors can take the time to learn about what makes this county work and stop being suckered into a false political narrative designed to make a few people very rich through the use of fraudulent propaganda.

I have had to give a few of them pep talks.

Finally, for those thinking of going to Canada, their corporate tax rate is much lower than ours and they are not as ethnically diverse. I think maybe they should go to Mexico or even South America.

That the popular vote was a landslide for Trump…but could not show one source that said that. The hatred , the sheer, I’ll believe anything about HRC, no matter what it is, is astounding. You all, dear Capt. talk about the other side this way, but get rankled if it’s returned and resort to name calling, even accusing us of being sick in the head…and in the next damned breath want those who didn’t vote for your savior to come together with you for the effing “greater good”?
