Philadelphus lewisii. Likes sun, but will grow in partial shade. Covered in sweet-smelling white flowers May/June. Attracts bees. Small, in pot now. Will grow to ten or twelve feet high in ideal conditions and will spread. Deciduous.

How thoughtful! I donated one to the new Westside School. You could ask if they would like another or try a different school. If still no takers, you could ask Garden Cycles if maybe they could find a home for it.

Lastly, I would be willing to give it a home. :)

Thanks, Talaki. I’m not sure how to get in touch with schools. But Garden Cycles is a great idea. Steve would be a good resource.

I have several of these. If you feel any ambition to own another one, I could give you a gallon pot.

I am wrestling with an out of control garden right now. I am hoping that Steve will have time to come and help tame it. If he can, I might take you up on your offer.

I’m with Friends of Morgan Junction Parks. We’d love to have another native plant to add to Morgan Junction Park or the green spaces around Morgan Junction. Your donation would live on for all to enjoy.

Barry, please email me at kld963 at gmail.

I do have more than one of these, so if anyone else is interested, please say so.

Hi Katherine — I tried to email you, but it rejected the address — so:

I’d LOVE a mock orange if you have one left after the worthy-cause people. I have such fond memories of that scent when I grew up with one in the yard, and would love to have one now —

Let me know — and either way, thanks for your generosity! Jann

The bigger ones are gone, but still have some gallon size left. Barry, are you still interested?
