So on Saturday night (12/17) a truck turns right in front of me going South on I-35 (Ave SW, close to Camp Long) and a ladder drops off the back. I honked and hit my breaks like crazy, but they didn’t stop. I picked the ladder up and put it on the grass next to the road. A few hours later on the way back it was still there, so I took it home.
It’s a 16ft ladder – if the rightful owner comes forward (and knows color and make or model) they can come and pick it up. Unfortunately, I saw no markings on the truck at night.
I wouldn’t say no to an apology, because the unsecured load did endanger my family.
