On Saturday April 15, there were people in my neighborhood looking for a lost drone. On Sunday I found a drone stuck in some bushes in my yard! So, if you are the person who lost the drone, please respond with a a description of the drone, the neighborhood where you were looking, and a description of the people who were looking. Thanks!
The fact that these things are frequently lost, and end up crashed in someone else’s landscape, is exactly why they should be banned. Another case of technology outrunning common sense. It’s only a matter of time before one of these things causes a serious injury or accident; they’re a nuisance, as JayDee said. Give it a good stomping, then recycle it.
Well, that would be a start. But my objection to drones goes beyond safety concerns. I’m also worried about privacy issues and the potential for criminal exploitation. If I see one in my air space, I consider it my right to blow it the heck out of said air space.
