datamuseParticipantWe’re looking for recommendations for a florist for our wedding (reception decor plus some bouquets and corsages). West Seattle-based strongly preferred! Lend me your suggestions.

CMPParticipantMy sister got her flowers at Metropolitan Market on Admiral and was very pleased with the bouquets and corsages. She said they were very reasonably priced and recommends them to any friend getting married. She opted to not have decorative flowers to save money and instead ordered wheatgrass from Thriftway and spruced that up a bit as centerpieces.

RainyDay1235MemberI simply went to Pike Place Market the morning of – found a vendor with beautiful flowers, had her arrange a large bouquet to my liking (and colors) – and put in an order for 5 large ones and 10 little ones just like. Picked them up an hour later. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, fresh – and about $100 total! :)

beachdrivegirlParticipantI actually have heard that the Thriftway does a really great job. A friend did their center pieces there and went to a more formal florist for her bouquets and spent twice as much for those. In the long run of things she liked the flowers from Thriftway way more and the bouquets were all screwed up and in the wrong colors.. .

BBMemberWe used WS Thriftway for our ’05 wedding. They botched the order but Met Market bailed us out! In retrospect I would go to Pike Place though
