Fauntleroy Car Prowls over weekend

Hey folks, not sure if this warrants putting on the main site or not but our street got car prowled over the weekend.

It’s the block – maybe more? – of Director St. from 45th down to Fauntleroy Way. Just above the Ferry dock. We had at least 3 cars broken into, with the standard snagging of anything obvious of value. They got my expensive stereo/nav system and some other small items.

Seems like it happened between 2am and 4am on Saturday overnight.

Anyone else in the area have issues over the weekend?

Sorry to hear it. Even a one-off car prowl is Crime Watch news. The prowlers seem to be getting more into the off-the-beaten-path streets these days (I know yours well, since it’s right there by the creek, on the west end). Please e-mail us – that’s how we amass Crime Watch stuff. Reported to police, right?
