does anyone know of any good fathers day brunch or dinner specials to go to…besides Salty’s. They are already booked up for sunday brunch except the outside, and i think it might rain. I know im a little late in planning….:)

Not sure about places to go, but I have heard that it is supposed to be 70 and sunny this weekend.

Of course, that can always change….. I’m holding on to hope!

I saw an ad (not here on WSB; some local eateries choose to give their $ to the citywide media instead) that Ama-Ama is starting brunch service as of Father’s Day. You might also check with Beato, which offered Mother’s Day brunch if I recall correctly … and JaK’s Grill in The Junction apparently offers brunch. Hope you find something good! – TR

Father’s Day isn’t nearly as popular for eating out — we’ve found you can usually get reservations at the last minute, unlike M-day. Dads of the world–unite! :-)

It’s not in West Seattle, but for special occasions I usually go to Sunday brunch at Ivars Salmon House. Good food, cheaper than Salty’s, and you get a nice view of downtown (plus the restaurant decor is attractive too). The downtown location does brunch too, but I’ve never been to that one. You can make reservations at ivars.net
