JoBParticipantSmitty.. the fact that we are talking about this at all is partisan. Colin Powell did the same thing and we aren’t sifting through his emails.

JanSParticipantsmitty, that makes no sense. It’s OK fore Condalleeza Rice and Powell to do it, but not Hillary Clinton. If she wasn’t running for president, would they give a damn, and would you? Either you can or you can’t, either it’s right or wrong, no matter who, and what their status is.

SmittyParticipantIsn’t the FBI investigating the emails that were on her private server? How are the R’s in Congress responsible?
I suppose you could blame the Benghazi committee for requesting emails for their investigation in the first place – which resulted in the discovery of her private email server. But that was not their intent.

CMParticipantSmitty, sorry I didn’t see your post ’till now. More facts:
If you receive unmarked classified information, it’s not a problem if you forward it, it’s the responsibility of the sender again. Unless, and this is the kicker, if you recognize that the unmarked information is classified, then there are very specific actions you need to take. You need to immediately shut down your entire system, isolate it from any outside connections and immediately notify the Security Management Program for that specific classified program.
They will take care of the issue, and the sender, and most likely “sterilize” your system, but again, the onus is on the sender, not the receiver. CM

JoBParticipantSmitty. the FBI is under pressure by Congress to investigate until all of those hearings they keep holding are done…
and they won’t be done as long as Hillary is politically viable.The good news is that we have seen Hillary stand up time and time again to this kind of political pressure.
