ECommerce Marketing and Fulfilment coordinator / Embroiderer

Dabbawalla Bags, located in South Park, is looking to expand its small team with someone to take charge of our ECommerce business. This position is responsible for handling all aspects of our online sales division, and will perform a wide range of duties including online marketing activities, customer service, order fulfillment, and customization of product with our in-house embroidery machine.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Work with our web site to update marketing copy, images and stock status as needed. Excellent writing and communication skills with a key eye for detail are essential for this aspect of the position.
-Respond to customer service inquiries or special requests on a timely basis.
-Package and ship orders daily.
-Learn to use our in-house embroidery machine to customize orders as needed. Training will be provided but an interest in sewing, design and attention to detail are essential to master the art of embroidery. Hours operating the embroidery machine can vary but average approximately 10% of the position’s total duties.

Knowledge/Skills required:
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Must have great attention to detail and be organized enough to juggle a range of tasks
Excellent written, verbal, grammar and communication skills
Microsoft skills (Outlook, Word)

Physical / Mental Requirements
Perform work in an office setting and stand for up to an hour at a time.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and climb ladders.

Hours can be very flexible but will average 20-30 hours a week during the business hours of 8-5, and is a 12-month a year, permanent, P/T position. This is a great opportunity for a parent with school-age children who also attend summer camp, or a P/T student.
