AnonymousInactiveI am sorry I started this topic and I remember seeing this topic but couldn’t find it scanning the website. I totally disagree with anyone dumping their dogs pop in our cans. Someone stated that the cans belong to the City of Seattle, yes they do however the City of Seattle does not pay the bills when our garbage bill arives. Be responsible and carry your dog poop home with you! It your dogs poop not ours and it came from your dog not ours.

BonnieParticipantWe pull our can inside our fence now because of people putting poop in our garbage cans. We used to leave it in the alley but somebody kept putting poop in it. I don’t put poop in their garbage cans so they shouldn’t put the crap in mine.

AnonymousInactiveWell put Bonnie!! My husband made a gate along side our garage to deter people from dumping poop in the cans. Now if we could do something about the people who drive by and walk by dumping their McDonalds food beverage and food wrappers in our yard, along with those nasty cigarette butts.

shihtzuParticipantWhile I don’t want other’s dog poo in my garbage either, I’d MUCH rather that than having them just crap in our parking strip and leaving it there.
I love dogs, but is it bad that I’m not sad the neighbor’s free-range bomb-dropper is dead?

AnonymousInactiveNo, I woudn’t want it in the parking strip, better for dog onwers to be responsible for the dogs they love so dearly and bag it and take it home. If anyone is offended by carting home their dog poop, then don’t own a dog!!

JanSParticipantlattemom, I have to agree with you on that. It’s part of having that particular kind of fur baby. They are probably the same kind of irresponsible person who doesn’t even clean up the poop in their own backyard…causing a decidedly nasty stench in the neighborhood.
