Cops on 45th btwn Spokane and Charlestown

Came home at 7 and a cop car was on 45th near Charlestown, tail lights on, car running. Went out for dinner, home at 10 pm to find cop car mid-block, lights on, car running facing Spokane. Looked in the car to ask why we had 3 hours of police presence and car was empty!! Just then, another cop pulled up, a cop jumped out to unlock this empty car. I asked if there was a problem on the street- didn’t look up, just said “no” jumped in the car and drove away. so…. Is this a policing practice? an unfriendly cop? Weird?

Ha… maybe the cop locked his keys in a running car and was embarrassed.
